Two Calif. fugitives arrested in SLC

SALT LAKE COUNTY – A pair of fugitives out of California were arrested Wednesday in Salt Lake City.

23-year-old Brian James Bess and 21-year-old Johnathan Alexander Bess were arrested after an anonymous tip to the Salt Lake City Police Dept.’s TipSoft service said the pair were possibly near the homeless shelter in Salt Lake City.

Officers in the area were given information and photos of the suspects and found them at the shelter. They were arrested and booked into jail for outstanding warrants related to a homicide in San Jose, Calif.
