Car crashed with cement truck

A car collided with a cement truck just after 3 a.m. on Thursday near 7800 South and Bangerter Highway.

The cement truck had just finished pouring and was being guided out of the area, officials said.

The driver of the car suffered serious injuries, including broken bones, and was taken to an area hospital.  The driver is expected to make a full recovery.

The driver of the cement truck was not hurt.
