The new building is in Utah County east off Interstate 15. It will soon be the home of Adobe's marketing business. It is expected to house 1,000 workers at first and will grow to 3,300 employees.
Adobe said it chose Utah for its well-educated, eager, and loyal workforce that pulls from nearby University of Utah and Brigham Young University.
In a way, they said Adobe is coming home. One of their founders is from Salt Lake City.
"We found great talent here, we have been in the state for some time and continue to grow very, very rapidly, and hope to continue to in the future," said Brad Rencher, of Adobe.
Some interesting features about the facility include the installation of a NBA-Sized basketball court. The windows will be floor to ceiling, but no corner offices are being installed. This way, Adobe said, everyone will get to enjoy the view.
