Jazz fall to Spurs 106-91 in first playoff game

SAN ANTONIO - The Utah Jazz fell to the top-seeded San Antonio Spurs Sunday morning in Game 1 of the first round of the playoffs.

Tony Parker scored 28 points and Tim Duncan added 17 points and 11 rebounds as the Spurs sailed to an easy 106-91 victory.

Paul Millsap led Utah with 20 points. Gordon Hayward scored 17 and Al Jefferson added 16 in the Jazz' first playoff game since coach Jerry Sloan's retirement.

Game 2 is Wednesday in San Antonio.
