Police searching for two men who claimed to be parole officers

Police are looking for two people claiming to be parole officers in West Valley City.

Officers said the men showed up at a home at 3100 South 6400 West around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and they were wearing uniforms and carrying badges.

They knocked on the door and ordered the a person at the home who is on parole to come with them to jail.

Family members did not recognize the parole officers and called police.  The two men quickly left the house in a pickup truck.

The family describes both men as Hispanic, wearing black clothing.  They both have short hair styles and facial hair, and they were driving a newer full-size truck, according to the family.
