An Easter egg hunt to raise awareness about autism was held at Sugarhouse Park Saturday.
Kids and parents went on a scavenger hunt for eggs.
Autistic Voices, the organization which put together the event, said it was more than just about the candy.
"There are currently one in 47 children in Utah with autism, so we're bring the community out to share information, get together, have a great time and just try to promote awareness and bring special needs scholarships through the funding that we raise here today," said Sharon Cook, senior president of Mountain America Credit Union.
Autistic Voices is a non-profit in Salt Lake City which provided resources to families.
