The Girl Scouts of America are celebrating 100 years in existence by showcasing the faces of 100 Girl Scouts, past and present.

The Girl Scouts program started a century ago with girls giving service. The goal has remained the same throughout the years; giving girls confidence.

"100 years ago it was far different. They were making bandages for the folks that were fighting wars," said Kabi Catalano, Director of Marketing and Communication for the Girl Scouts of Utah. "Girl Scouts is about encouraging girls and woman to have confidence, courage and strength in their lives."

Part of the 100th birthday celebration is to photograph 100 faces of Girl Scouts, past and present, dressed in the iconic sashes and vests throughout the history of the Girl Scouts.
