Snow fall this morning created some dangerous road conditions, especially in Davis and Weber counties.
Utah Highway Patrol reported 48 crashes between 6:30 am and 10:30 am. Five of those accidents were roll overs.
“We had a lot of slide outs and a whole lot of roll overs,” said Trooper Chris Jones of the Utah Highway Patrol. “More roll overs then I've seen in quiet a long time.
In 12-13 years, I don't think I've seen this many roll overs in one single snow storm in this small of an area.”
Although the snow has stopped in most areas, there is a risk of black ice and more slippery conditions for this evening's commute as well.
