Utah International Auto Expo promises interactive fun for car lovers

Displays are being set up Thursday for the Utah International Auto Expo, set to begin Friday and go through Monday.

31 manufacturers will have more than 400 new cars on display, plus interactive exhibits. New this year is Camp Jeep where professional drivers will drive visitors along a 4-wheel driving course called Jeep Mountain.

Kirk Schneider, Auto Show Committee Chairman, says that car lovers of all ages will enjoy the show.

"It's just a great show. It's a giant candy store for car lovers," Schneider said.

The show is open Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday and Monday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Costs are $8 for adults; $6 for seniors, military with ID and children 7-12 years old; and free for ages 6 and under.
