    BOUNTIFUL, Utah — Officials said a 13-year-old girl missing in Bountiful has been found safe. Bountiful Police said Kayla Leatherman returned home Wednesday morning.   • Man calls in fake shooting, interferes with DUI investigation, police say

    ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. — A man was arrested after trying to interfere with police in order to stop his friend from getting a DUI on Friday. Dean Allen Muir, Jr., 27, was charged on Tuesday with Interference with a Peace Officer and False Reporting to Authorities. According to police, Muir reported a fake shooting on the Little Bitter Creek Road on May 5 while his friend was under DUI investigation.   • Fallen hang glider pilot rescued in Draper

    DRAPER, Utah — A crashed hang glider pilot was recused in the Hang Glider Park at 15300 South Steep Mountain Drive Monday night. Unified Fire Authoritiy sent a heavy rescue team to the rough terrain area. According to officials, the pilot was conscious and able to guide rescuers to his location. He was flown to the hospital. Authorities have not confirmed his condition at this time.

    UINTAH COUNTY, Utah — UDOT made a temporary lift to a road closure just north of Vernal for local traffic on Sunday. According to UDOT spokesperson John Gleason, the road had closed both ways after reports the road was sinking came around 11 p.m. Saturday night.
