Residents return to apartments after gas leak, carbon monoxide concerns downtown

SALT LAKE CITY – Residents are back in their apartments after a gas leak and carbon monoxide concerns evacuated an apartment building downtown Friday morning.

The Embassy Arms Apartments near 130 S. 300 E. were aired out and deemed safe after the leak reported at 8:30 a.m.

Dominion Energy is investigating the source of the natural gas leak.

No injuries were reported.
