Largest British warship ever built for Royal Navy to begin sea trials

FIFE, England — The British Royal Navy’s largest aircraft carrier, the HMS Queen Elizabeth, has departed its dock for the first time to begin its anticipated sea trials.

It’s the largest warship ever built for the Royal Navy, and left from its home port, the Rosyth dock in Fife.

Once in service, the ship will operate with a crew of 1,000 and 40 aircraft,
