SNOWBIRD SKI & SUMMER RESORT, Utah — A Millcreek man died Wednesday in an incident at Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort.

Unified Police identified the victim as 54-year-old Daryl Norton.

A spokesman for Snowbird said a member of the ski patrol found Norton unresponsive and alone on the Chip’s Run. Norton received treatment from the ski patrol and an Air Med crew, but he couldn’t be revived.

According to UPD, Norton was an experienced skier and it’s unknown whether his death was caused by trauma or a medical issue.
