OREM, Utah — Police in Orem are hoping the public can help them find a woman who has gone missing, and they said she has the mental capacity of a 3-year-old child.

Jessica Sherwood, 28, was last seen near her home in the area of 1100 West and 600 North Friday afternoon. Police say she has the mental capacity of a 3 year old and has been missing for several hours.

Sherwood is 6-feet tall and weighs 175 pounds. She was wearing a pink hoodie, a tan hat, sunglasses and jeans. The sweater and hat are the same items pictured in the photo to the right.

Police ask anyone who sees the woman to call them, and they said they want to find her before “she spends this cold night outside.” Orem Police Dispatch can be reached at 801-229-7070.
