Fire causes roof collapse at Fruit Heights home, no injuries

FRUIT HEIGHTS, Utah – Crews are investigating what sparked a fire at a Fruit Heights home overnight.

Just after 5 a.m. firefighters were called to the home at 593 S. Grand Oaks Drive.

Firefighters have contained the flames and the family of four got out unharmed.

The blaze caused severe damage to the home and the roof has collapsed.

Officials said fires crews had trouble with the fire hydrants in the area.

Authorities are investigating what caused the fire.
