SALT LAKE CITY — Gordon Hayward scored a season-high 31 points, leading the Utah Jazz to a 120-101 win over the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night. The Jazz have now won four games in a row to improve their record to 11-8.

Rodney Hood scored 19 points for the Jazz, with 10 coming during a 20-5 run in the first quarter. But Hood left in the third quarter a hamstring strain and did not return.

Rudy Gobert continues to play well. The Jazz center had 16 points and 14 rebounds, for his 11th double-double of the season.

Head coach Quin Snyder likes how his team is playing. “I think our team is mature enough, I think they are connected enough and they’re always supportive of one another,” said Snyder. “That gives you confidence when you’re the guy that comes in and you know that you’ve been there and you’ve been connected and your teammates have your back. It’s just a lot easier to play that way.”
