HOLLADAY, Utah — Unified Fire Authority officials said crews have contained a spill near Highland Drive, but the substance still hasn’t been identified.

According to a representative for UFA, the spill started at a storm drain at 5600 S, west of Highland Dr. and 1700 E. Hazardous materials crews placed booms in Big Cottonwood Creek to contain the spill, and the booms are expected to remain in place for a few days.
