Parents found after Orem police encounter unattended child

OREM, Utah — Police in Orem are hoping the public can help them find the parents of a boy believed to be about 10 years old who is nonverbal and who was found alone in the area of 2000 South Sandhill Road Wednesday night.

Police provided a photo of the boy and asked anyone who recognizes him to contact Orem PD, but few other details were available. Orem Police Dispatch can be reached at 801-229-7070.

Police stated the boy is nonverbal and possibly autistic.
