OKLAHOMA CITY – Travelers at Oklahoma City's Will Rogers World Airport have been asked to shelter in place after a person was killed in a shooting at the airport Tuesday.

Police have identified the victim as Michael Winchester, a Southwest Airlines employee.

Officials have not confirmed any information about a suspect at this time.

The Oklahoma City Police Department has closed the airport while they investigate.

Those inside the airport sheltered in place and were to be bused from the airport to a safe location.

Airport officials say all arrivals and departures were suspended shortly after the shooting.

The airport remained closed Tuesday afternoon.
