SALT LAKE CITY — Police in Salt Lake City are asking for help locating a man who is considered endangered and suffers from health issues that include diabetes and schizophrenia.

Police say 22-year-old Taylor Rose was last seen running from his mother’s car near the South Towne Mall in Sandy last Sunday, and the man had reportedly been talking about the need to climb to the top of a mountain east of the direction he went running in.

Rose has Type 1 Diabetes and requires multiple injections daily, but police say he does not have his medication with him. He has also been diagnosed with schizophrenia, according to the press release.

The man is listed as missing and endangered, and police say that because of his untreated medical issues his family is very concerned for his well-being.

Rose, pictured above, stands 6-feet tall and weighs 135 pounds. He has dark hair and a short beard. He has blue eyes.

Anyone who sees Rose should call SLC PD at 801-799-3000.
