Financial expert Rachel Langlois with Cyprus Credit Union tells us what we should be buying now. Many things go on sale or clearance during the fall months, so she gives us the inside scoop.
Things to buy during the Fall:
- Travel: many airlines have flight sales in the Fall, right now is a great time to buy from Southwest Airlines. Hotels also have great deals during the Fall because it is considered off season.
- Appliances: new models are released in the Fall, so it's a great time to buy last year's model at a discounted price
- Outdoor supplies: Patio furniture and grills are on sale right now, sometimes by as much as 90%. If you are thinking of getting a grill as a Christmas gift, now is the time to buy.
- Back to School gear: Jeans usually decline in price this time of year because it is after the back-to-school season. Computers go on sale in November. Usually right before Thanksgiving and Black Friday are the best times to buy.
