This “mixture” can be used for tacos, enchiladas, burritos, as a dip with chips or pitas, in a lettuce wrap and more!
Mixture:
1 tablespoon canola or vegetable oil
1 lb. ground beef
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1 (15 oz.) can refried beans
Salt and Pepper, to taste
Suggested Toppings:
Shredded Cheese
Chopped Onions
Cilantro
Chopped Jalapeno
Sliced Radishes
Shredded Cabbage and/or Lettuce
Lime Slices
In a large skillet up to medium-high heat, add the oil. Cook the ground beef with the chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper until browned. Reduce heat to medium. Stir in the beans. Cook for 4-5 minutes. Serve mixture your desired way with suggested toppings.
