Police seek public’s help finding missing 13-year-old girl with juvenile diabetes

SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah — Authorities have issued an endangered missing person advisory for a 13-year-old girl Monday afternoon.

Leah Samuels was last seen at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the area of 1000 West and 4500 South, possibly northbound on the Jordan River Trail, according to a Facebook post from Unified police.

Leah has juvenile diabetes and had her last dose of insulin just before she was last seen at 11:15 a.m. She was supposed to receive another insulin dose at 3:30 p.m., the Facebook post states.

Leah is possibly with 13-year-olds Ralfo Guajardo and Francis Baldenegro.

She was last seen wearing winter boots, a blue t-shirt and red pants.

Anyone with information on Leah Samuels’ whereabouts is asked to call Unified police at 801-743-7000.
