Cache County Sheriff shot in hand during hunting accident

SODA SPRINGS, Idaho – Cache County Sheriff Chad Jensen is recovering after he was injured in a hunting accident over the weekend.

Officials said he was flown back to Utah for a gunshot injury to his left hand while hunting in Soda Springs, Idaho.

The sheriff is expected to return to work “shortly.”
