Utes ranked No. 18 after comeback win vs USC

SALT LAKE CITY -- The University of Utah Utes moved up six places in the AP Top 25 poll Sunday after they rallied for a comeback win at home against USC Friday.

Utah's win featured a couple of key fourth down conversions in their final drive, and Coach Kyle Whittingham's gambles paid off with a W at Rice-Eccles and a bump to No. 18 in the AP poll, which had Utah at No. 24 last week.

The Utes are also No. 18 in the Coaches Poll this week, moving up five spots from their previous No. 23 ranking.

Utah is 4-0 so far this season, 1-0 in Pac-12 play. The Utes' next game is a match-up at Cal (2-2 overall and 0-1 in conference). That game is scheduled for 4 p.m. MT October 1 in Berkeley.
