WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – A man is behind bars after a domestic dispute led to the SWAT Team being called out to West Valley City.

Authorities said a couple was arguing when the 27-year-old man left, intoxicated, with a 3-year-old child.

When he came back, his wife said he pulled out a gun and showed her it was loaded.

The woman ordered everyone to leave the home but the man refused to leave the yard.

She called police and the man ran but officers found him about 45 minutes later.

SWAT was called after the man showed he was armed and refused to surrender.

He is now facing numerous misdemeanor charges.
