WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – A man was hit and killed while crossing the street in West Valley City Tuesday night.
At about 9 p.m., emergency crews were called out to an auto-pedestrian accident at 4580 West and 3500 South.
Police say 53-year-old Louis Gregg was hit while crossing the intersection.
Gregg was in critical condition but died on the way to the hospital.
Police say the man was wearing dark clothes and was not in a crosswalk.
