LOGAN, Utah – Utah State Football and Athletic Director John Hartwell announced, Tuesday, an upcoming two-season series with Washington State.

The two teams will visit each other for the 2020 and 2021 seasons — Aggies playing host first.

The last time Utah State played a Power 5 program in a home-and-home series was in 1997-98 against Oregon State.

When Washington State visits in 2020, it will mark the fifth time a Pac-12 school has visited Logan in school football history. The last time being Utah in 2012, where the Aggies got an overtime win 27-20.

The other three Pac-12 match ups being Oregon in 2001, losing 38-21, Oregon State in 1998, losing 20-16, and Washington State in 1950, losing 46-6.

Utah State is 1-2 against Washington State all-time, their last meeting in 1961, where the Aggies stood 34-14 on the road. The series began in 1949.
