SALT LAKE CITY - Rep. Mia Love and challenger Doug Owens have a reputation to uphold as fight for the seat in Utah's Fourth Congressional District this election season.
The district is the state’s and one of the nation’s most contentious contest. So, Love and Owens have taken their battle to the airwaves in campaign ads.
“The amount of money in these ads is extraordinary,” said Tim Chambless of the University of Utah’s Hinckley Institute of Politics.
Owens is running an ad that introduces him as a fourth generation Utahn with pioneer roots in Panguitch.
Love has a series of ads addressing issues including education, the economy and veteran services.
