GOFFSTOWN, NH - Here’s exactly what NOT to do if you find a bear in your yard, even if it is stealing your stuff.
A black bear was caught red-handed trying to take a bird feeder in New Hampshire.
Jason Alexander shot this video of the bear running off with the feeder as it tried to eat the seeds inside.
After a mild scolding, the bear dropped the feeder.
Alexander says the bear stood motionless for a while but eventually snacked on some seeds in the driveway.
Wildlife officials say the lack of rain in New Hampshire has led to a poor berry crop.
That means many hungry bears are turning to bird feeders and trash cans for food.
Even more of a reason NOT to approach the hungry bear.
