SALT LAKE CITY – At least 30 tow trucks and other vehicles formed a procession Saturday to honor a Utah man who died in an industrial accident last week.

Tommy Zamora, 47, was crushed between a wrecker and an RV while doing some work at Bullock’s Towing in Salt Lake City last Sunday.

Saturday, loved ones and colleagues gathered to honor his memory. The vehicles formed a procession that traveled from Salt Lake City to Brigham City for Zamora’s funeral.

“Most of the time these tow trucks and these towing companies are competitors, but on a day like today, they come here as coworkers, friends and family to basically unite everybody here,” said Dave Carman of Bullock's Towing.

Friends say Zamora loved to travel, and they said he took every opportunity for a long tow.
