SALT LAKE CITY - A SWAT standoff in Salt Lake City has ended with five people in custody overnight.

Authorities said they got a tip about a wanted person planning to leave town.

They used tear gas to force out the other suspects.

Officials said the suspects had active warrants with a history of armed robbery and weapons charges.

Two of those who were arrested have been identified.

SWAT standoff arrestsWillie Neal Lemmon had existing felony warrants for his arrest for charges relating to possession of a controlled substance in a correctional facility. He was booked on new charges that included failure to stop, violation of parole or probation, and controlled substance charges.
