CARBON COUNTY, Utah — Authorities arrested two teens suspected of breaking windows on buses and side-view mirrors on vehicles in Carbon County overnight.

Price City police responded, Wednesday morning, to multiple reports of criminal mischief that had occurred throughout the neighborhoods of the city overnight, according to a Facebook post by Price City Police Department.

Side-view mirrors on vehicles parked on the street had been broken. There are 60 known victims.

“One suspect drove down the street while the other suspect wielded a bat, breaking the mirrors as they drove by,” the post states.

School buses also had windows broken out.

Two buses for Pinnacle Charter School had 28 windows smashed and 10 windows from one bus from the Carbon School District bus garage broken.

By 11 a.m. authorities recovered the bat and both suspects had been detained.

John David Stickney, 18, of Spring Glen, was booked into the Carbon County Jail on second-degree felony criminal mischief.

A 17-year-old boy from Price was also booked into the Castle Valley Youth Detention Facility on the same charge.
