SALT LAKE CITY — Fire crews responded to a fire at a four-plex in South Salt Lake Friday morning.

Firefighters said the fire started on the roof around 5 a.m. at 333 E 3155 S.

Battalion Chief Kent Robertson with the South Salt Lake Fire Department said their biggest concern was the occupants inside and the fire to possibility of the fire spreading to the attack.

With a quick response time, firefighters were able to get everyone out of the home safely and extinguish the fire.

Authorities estimate the damage to $100,000 and said one unit is a total loss due to water damage.
