SALT LAKE CITY — A building under construction near the University of Utah was damaged in a fire Friday morning.
The fire started shortly before 8 a.m. at 515 South Colorow Drive. According to the Salt Lake City Fire Department, the fire started in an air handling unit on the fourth floor of the building.
A second fire crew was called to the scene due to the large amount of smoke, Salt Lake City Fire Department Jason Asay said. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
