OGDEN, Utah — Fire crews worked overnight to put out a grass fire that happened near 12th Street and Harrison Boulevard in Ogden.

The fire was one acre and took fire crews. Authorities closed down all northbound lanes on Harrison Blvd. 9th to 12th street.

Firefighters said thick trees and a lack of fire hydrants in the area slowed them down in extinguishing the fire.

The fire has been contained, however, crews are watching the area closely for hot spots and the cause is still under investigation.

No homes were threatened and there were no injuries associated with the fire.
