Where to watch fireworks in Utah for Independence Day

A variety of cities and other venues are putting on fireworks displays for Independence Day in 2016. Most of the events included on the list are free to the public, but some require tickets. Friday, July 1:

Logan Freedom Fire Celebration at USU Maverik Stadium: Gates open at 7 p.m., entertainment begins at 8 p.m. and features fireworks, a concert and a laser show. Tickets are $8 or six for $36. More details.

Salt Lake Bees: A fireworks display is scheduled for after the Bees’ game against the Grizzlies July 1. More details.

West Bountiful Independence Day Celebration: Fireworks display at City Park beginning at 10 p.m. More details.

Saturday, July 2:

Centerville Independence Day: Fireworks begin at Founder’s Park at 9:45 p.m. More details.

Gunnison Independence Day Celebration 2016: Fireworks begin at 10:15 p.m. More details.

North Salt Lake Fireworks and Festivities: Fireworks display at Eaglewood Golf Course beginning at 10 p.m. More details.

Perry City: Fireworks display scheduled for 10 p.m. at Perry Park. More details.

Provo Freedom Festival: Fireworks are a part of the Stadium of Fire portion of the Provo Freedom Festival. The event begins at 8 p.m., and tickets range from $29 to $175. More details.

Riverton City Town Days: Fireworks begin at 10 p.m. at Riverton City Park. More details.

Salt Lake Bees: A fireworks display is scheduled for after the Bees’ game against the Grizzlies July 2. More details.

Monday, July 4:

Brianhead Mountain Resort: Fireworks scheduled at the resort for 10 p.m. More details.

Brigham City: The display is scheduled for dusk and will take place at Rees Pioneer Park. More details.

Cedar City: The display is scheduled for 10 p.m. at Cedar City Airport. More details.

Clearfield: Fireworks display scheduled for 10 p.m. at Fisher Park. More details.

Delta: The display is scheduled for 10 p.m. and takes place at the MC Fair Grounds. More details.

Farr West: Fireworks will be set off at Mountain View Park at 10 p.m. More details.

Grantsville: The fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. at Cherry Street Park. More details.

Holladay: Fireworks scheduled for 10 p.m. at Pine Park. More details.

Hurricane City: Fireworks will be set off at the City Public Works Building at 10 p.m. Viewers are encouraged to head to the ball fields at 200 West and 600 North. More details.

Hyrum: Fireworks will be set off at the soccer fields at City Square. The event runs from 8-10:30 p.m. More details.

Kaysville: Fireworks will be set off at the Davis High School football field. A specific time was not announced. More details.

Layton Liberty Days Celebration: A concert will be held at  Ed Kenley Amphitheater near Layton Commons Park from 8-10 p.m. with a fireworks display afterward. More details.

Lehi: The fireworks display will be at Thanksgiving Point, just south of Electric Park. Gates open at 4 p.m. and fireworks begin at 10 p.m. Admission is free. More details.

Lewiston: Fireworks will be set off at the Rodeo Grounds at dusk. More details.

Magna City: Fireworks scheduled for 10 p.m. at Magna Copper Park. More details.

Manti City: Fireworks scheduled for 8 p.m. at Manti High School stadium. More details.

Midway: A fireworks display is scheduled for 10 p.m. at Memorial Hill. More details.

Milford City: Display will be held at Pavilion Park at dusk. More details.

Murray 2016 Fun Days: Fireworks at the Murray Park softball field at 10 p.m. More details.

North Ogden Cherry Days Fireworks Spectacular: The display will begin at 10 p.m. at Barker Park. More details.

Park City Mountain Resort: The display is scheduled for dusk/9:30 p.m. and can be viewed from the Park City Base Area. More details.

Riverdale City Old Glory Days: Fireworks will be discharged at Riverdale Park around dusk following a concert and other events. More details.

Saint George: A concert will be held at Dixie State University’s stadium from 8-10 p.m., with a fireworks show following the concert. Admission is free but on a first come, first served basis. More details.

Salt Lake City: Fireworks display scheduled for 10 p.m. at Jordan Park. More details.

Salt Lake City–Sugar House: Fireworks display in Sugar House Park at 10 p.m. More details.

Sandy: The Fourth of July festivities will include a “Fireworks Sky Concert” at 10 p.m. at the South Towne Promenade. More details.

Tooele Bit & Spur Rodeo: Fireworks will be set off at the Desert Peak Complex in conjunction with the rodeo, which begins at 8 p.m. More details.

West Jordan Western Stampede: The event will feature fireworks at Veterans Memorial Park at 10 p.m. More details.

West Point: Fireworks will be set off at Loy Blake Park once it is dark. More details.

Saturday, July 9:

American Fork Steel Days: Fireworks will be set off at Art Dye Park at 8 p.m. More details.

Farmington Festival Days: The display is scheduled for dark/10 p.m. at Forbush Park. More details.

Saturday, July 16:

Clinton City Heritage Days: Fireworks will be discharged at the Civic Center Park beginning at 10 p.m. More details.

Draper: The display is scheduled for 10 p.m. at Draper City Park.More details.

Spanish Fork Fiesta Days: The ‘Pyromusical’ is scheduled for 7:30-10 p.m. at Spanish Fork Junior High School. More details.
