TOOELE COUNTY, Utah -- The fastest racing motorcycles in North America are in Utah, as the MotoAmerica Superbike Championships are bringing speedsters from around the United States into Tooele to compete.

Four different classes will be showcased on the outer course: Superbike, Supersport, Superstock 600, and KTM RC Cup Spec Series.

Devin Husband, a Salt Lake City local, is competing in the KTM Races. Having attended Highland High School, Husband began racing BMX, then decided the KTM cup was more his style after test riding at the Utah Motorsports Campus.

He said winning on his home track would be a dream come true.

However, many fans will come out Saturday to see the Superbike races. Earlier in the week, MotoAmerica put on a media riding day, where members of local sports media were given the opportunity to ride on the back of a Superbike.

FOX 13’s Rebecca Cade took up the offer and rode on the back of a bike driven by Chris Ulrich, reaching speeds of up to 170 mph. Ulrich said the speed of Superbikes, as well as the difficulty of the track, is what gives fans the excitement and experience of a lifetime.

Saturdays schedule is as follows:

12:30 p.m.: Superbike Race 1 (18 laps)
1:50 p.m.: KTM RC Cup Race 2 (9 laps)
2:30 p.m.: Black Rhino Superbike Challenge Race
3:15 p.m.: Supersport/Superstock 600 Race 2 (16 laps)
4:15 p.m.:  Superbike Race 2 (18 laps)
5:00 p.m.: End
