Draper man facing murder charges after two women stabbed in Wyoming

ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. — A man from Draper is in jail and facing charges of murder and attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed two women at a Quality Inn in Rock Springs, Wyoming.

According to the Rock Springs Police Department, officers responded to the Quality Inn, 1670 Sunset Drive, around 1:30 a.m. Thursday on report of a physical disturbance.

When police arrived they found a woman who had suffered multiple stab wounds during an altercation. The woman, identified as 29-year-old Naisha Story of South Jordan, Utah, was taken to a local hospital. She later died due to her injuries.

Another female injured in the incident was taken to a local hospital, and she was then flown to University of Utah Hospital to be treated. Her exact condition was unclear, and her identity has not been released.

Police stated their investigation determined that 18-year-old Bradley Fairbourn of Draper had stabbed both women. He was booked into the Sweetwater County Detention Facility on charges of murder in the first-degree and attempted murder in the first-degree.
