WEST JORDAN, Utah -- A West Valley City man is in critical condition after a motorcycle crash on Redwood Road, Saturday morning.
Redwood Road was shut down between 6200 and 7000 Souths while West Jordan police investigated the accident.
The incident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. when a driver in that area switched lanes then rear-ended the 66-year-old motorcyclist, causing him to be ejected from his bike, according to police.
The victim was not wearing a helmet.
Police say the West Valley City man was taken to Intermountain Medical Center by ambulance in critical condition.
