A family got a lot closer to an American black bear than they wanted to be near Yellowstone National Park, according to the Huffington Post.
It wasn't their choice; the large and curious creature walked right up to their vehicle and opened the door itself, Fox News reported.
In the YouTube video you can see the bear walking up to the side of the parked car.
A young boy in the car nervously tells his dad a bear is right next to them.
Then, as if on cue, the animal pops up next to the passenger side window, peers in at the man in the front seat and effortlessly opens the door.
Screams filled the car as the man struggled to get the door closed, but not before snapping a few close-ups.
Other than needing a change of pants, the family came out unscathed.
