In a new study, Utah is topping the list of U.S. states with the strongest economies.
According to Forbes and Wallethub, the Beehive State received top scores in three major categories including business start-up activity, patents and venture capital funding, as well as the largest change in non-farm payrolls.
Washington State comes in right behind Utah and California earned third place thanks to “innovation potential.”
States on the other end of the spectrum include Arkansas, Mississippi and West Virginia thanks to low median incomes.
