HERRIMAN, Utah — A 22-year-old man was airlifted to a nearby hospital after suffering critical injuries in a motorcycle crash, Saturday afternoon.
Unified police responded to the accident just before 1 p.m. at 8500 West and Herriman Highway. The rider left the roadway for an unknown reason and hit a fence, said Lt. Lex Bell, spokesman for Unified police.
Although the man was wearing a helmet, Bell said, he sustained lacerations on his head and was flown to an area hospital.
