SALT LAKE CITY — Two men involved in a fight suffered stab wounds and were taken to a hospital in serious to critical condition Wednesday night.
Police responded to 856 West Fig Tree Place just after 8 p.m. on a report of a double stabbing.
Police at the scene said both men were involved in a fight, which they described as mutual combat.
One of the suspects is in critical condition from multiple stab wounds to his stomach while the other is in serious condition with a stab wound to his arm.
Neither man’s injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
Police are still investigating to determine what led up to the fight and what relationship there is between them if any at all.
Officials have not released the identity of the 2 men involved in the stabbing and won’t say whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the argument.
They expect at least 1 of the 2 men will be charged.
