Police ID victim in Ogden fatal crash

OGDEN, Utah — Police have identified the victim in a car accident that killed a woman in Ogden on Sunday afternoon.

Zina Reyes, 25, was driving north in a Dodge Durango at 13th Street and Harrison Boulevard when she left the roadway  on the eastside and began to roll, according to a press release from Ogden police.

Reyes, of Weber County, was ejected during the crash and pronounced dead at the scene.

Reyes’ passenger, a 25-year-old man from Weber County was injured in the crash and taken to an area hospital in critical condition.

Neither individuals were wearing seat belts.

All lanes of Harrison Boulevard were closed for several hours between 12th and 20th Streets. Police first tweeted about the closure just after 5 p.m. and the road reopened after 8 p.m.
