Police looking for suspects after two abduction attempts in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, Utah - Over the past week there have been 2 abduction attempts in the Bluff Ridge Elementary area.

According to officials the first abduction happened on Thursday at around 8:30 p.m.  near 2400 South and 650 West.

Suspects in the first case are described as young men with tanned skin driving a silver car and one suspect may have tattoos on his arm.

The second abduction attempt  happened on Wednesday at around 3:30 p.m. near 2600 South and 1000 West.

Police say that the suspect in this case is described as an elderly man wearing a black hat and driving a white SUV.

Syracuse Police Department say they're taking these attempted abductions very seriously and they've cross referenced sex offenders information with that of the suspects and the area in which it happened.

Officials have done follow-up interviews with the children involved to make sure they aren't missing out on any information they may know.

Bluff Ridge Elementary have emailed out safety information to parents after the attempted abductions.
