Police searching for man who robbed 7-Eleven gas station

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah – Unified Police Department are looking for a man who turned up to a 7-Eleven in Taylorsville and robbed it with a weapon.

The robbery took place on 4700 South and Redwood Road around 2 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police say that the clerk cooperated with the suspect and handed over the money.

A K-9 officer was to search the area but police were unable to find the suspect who robbed the store.

Sergeant Justin Fowler at Unified Police Department  said that right now they are not releasing the full description of the suspect but they will say the robbery suspect was a man dressed in dark clothing.

Fowler also said that for now they won’t be releasing information about what kind of weapon was used during the robbery.

Officials confirm there is usable surveillance video which will be looked over by investigators and may be released later today.
