SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Police are looking for someone who stole a White Honda Civic out of Murray late Tuesday night.
A West Valley Officer spotted the stolen vehicle near the city hall around 10 p.m. so they continued to follow it through various areas of Salt Lake City.
While calling for back up the driver of the stolen car gave officers the slip but the car was later found near 1000 North and 1400 West.
A Salt Lake City Police set up a perimeter and used an K-9 officer to search the area but it could not find the suspect.
Anyone with information is asked to call Salt Lake City Police.
