Zumba fitness for a cause

Zumba instructor, Erin Ripplinger, spoke about her fitness journey on "The PLACE" while teaching Brittany a few salsa moves.

Erin was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer at age 23 and immediately started chemotherapy. After the 5th dose of chemo, Erin found out she was 24 weeks pregnant.

Erin`s doctors warned her the baby would be unhealthy and might not live very long after birth, but Erin`s love for the child grew every day and was her guardian angel during her radiation.

Today, 17 years later, Erin is a breast cancer survivor and enjoying every moment with her two, healthy children. After treatment, Erin`s doctors recommended she incorporate fitness into her lifestyle which is where Erin discovered her love of Zumba.

Erin became a certified Zumba instructor and started began hosting pink Zumba parties in 2015 to raise money for breast cancer awareness and research.
