MOAB, Utah — Law enforcement officers from across the state were in Moab Saturday for the 4th annual Fallen Peace Officer Trail Ride.

Photos from the event show dozens who gathered to honor the memory of fallen officers from Utah.

A video shows a piper playing beneath a large American flag as the a solemn crowd stands, see the post below from Salt Lake County Sheriff Jim Winder for that footage.

The event, which was open to the public, was held at the Spanish Trail area.

All proceeds from the event go toward the families of fallen officers, and last year the group was able to provide six scholarships. For more information on the event, visit the Utah Peace Officer Association’s website.
